Govt Engineering College Wayanad
Government Engineering College Wayanad is a public engineering college in Thalappuzha, near Mananthavady in Wayanad district, Kerala. Established in 1999 by the Government of Kerala, it is one of the state’s government engineering colleges and serves as a major center for technical education in the region.

The college offers undergraduate B.Tech programs in:
Computer Science and Engineering
Electronics and Communication Engineering
Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Civil and Environmental Engineering
It also offers M.Tech programs in Communication Engineering & Signal Processing and Computer Networks & Security. The institution is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, and several engineering programs have received NBA accreditation for specified accreditation periods.
Campus and facilities
The campus is located about 6 km from Mananthavady, along the Mananthavady–Kannur State Highway, providing a relatively quiet, green setting characteristic of the Wayanad hills. The college has laboratories, workshops, computing facilities, library resources, hostels, sports infrastructure, and has benefited from the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) for academic and infrastructure development.
